words to live by.......

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!"

Rain, Rain go away!

Got up early this morning to the sounds of rain, lots of rain.  When we needed it to rain this summer where was this?  It is cold too, which in combination with the rain I have the worse pain in my right arm, great!  Oh well, life goes on, so I will grin and bare it!  Things could be so much worse.  See I am smiling.......
I didn't do any kind of sewing yesterday at all......nope that's right, none!  Why do I sound so happy about that, well my daughter Sami and I spent the whole afternoon scrapbooking!  I haven't done that in a couple of years.

Yes that's me in the ball cap.....I absolutely hate to have my picture taken (can't you tell).

So you can imagine the photos I have on disc's!  But I only did a few pages, but I am very proud of what I finished.  Now I have to fine that darn scrapbook I bought a couple of years ago.  I put it up for safe keeping..........

and..........
not bad if I must say so myself!!!

Well, you know I could let the kids leave without me snapping a few pictures of Belle, what kind of MawMaw would I be!
No, she isn't blowing her nose, she is trying to eat a paper towel!  She is so darn cute!!!!

So, with that said........

  1. So glad you are doing well and enjoying life. Glad you can get back to sewing too. I attempted scrapbooking. I get frustrated when it takes so long to complete and in the end I am not happy with how it turned out. My biggest problem is I cant decide what pictures to use. Then I have more pictures then decorations. Well it is good to see you up and around. Maybe we are getting closer to that lunch date.
